love surrendered

like the wind, i sing from the shore,
this grief, too Deep for words,
too Dark for tears that come no more,
far from Erin’s circling birds,

my Fate it seems, to sing the sad songs,
tormented beyond the Veils, and ages
far from the arms where my love belongs,
my tragic tales unfold in these pages,

imprisoned by Who i am, i sing,
this grief, filling every silent night,
across the great sea, ever longing
for the worst, for my heart’s delight.
